We are voting in favor of ratifying the Standard Rollup Charter, we will be sharing extended rationale and our thoughts soon on in the delegate thready.
This charter clarifies which chains are subject to join Superchain—the Collective's core product. The writers also revised the proposal over many months, giving the community enough time to ratify it. We're voting for this proposal.
Standardizing what chains joining the superchain should adhere to makes sense.
We don’t think this charter is as clear on some points as it should be, such as revenue sharing details, but we also acknowledge that it is an aspirational document, and has no legal, social, or other binding obligations on governance. Just like the Law of Chains more broadly, these are more guidelines to begin and maintain conversations with potential partners, and to our reading, in no way constrains the degrees of freedom of Optimism governance.
very exciting

We support this proposal as it enhances security and decentralization by setting clear governance standards and allowing flexible integrity checks in the early stages."
I like the steps taken toward standardization, recognizing its importance for achieving interoperability. I hope this becomes a binding document, and I’m confident it will once OP token governance takes full control.
WakeUp Labs votes in favor of this proposal, as it will drive standardization and interoperability in the long run—both essential for the growth of the SuperChain ecosystem.
Per the October 22nd Token House Call, the proposal seems reasonable and well thought out.
This ensures standard Rollup aligns with Optimism’s highest security and governance standards under the Law of Chains.

The superchain is doing great, let's make sure that continues.
We're getting better.
