Delegate Statement

A brief intro to yourself:

I believe in action and I believe in kindness. This is why I appreciate the people at Optimism and want to help propagate its values, to the ends of the world!

I am best described as a salad of curiosity and execution. I have done a bit of everything, so I am hard to stuff into a pigeonhole (and I don't want to steal a little bird's home!). I am an ardent business person by day and an enthusiastic computer nerd by night. I started in enterprise crypto (Anchorage, head of bd), but gradually moseyed my way to where the sausage is made, i.e. to protocols (Zcash, board) and applications (Synthetix, gov DAO). I helped managed a DNA lab a lifetime ago, and worked in private equity investing two lifetimes ago. Somewhere in there I learned to code and picked up a hobby in cybersecurity.

A message to the community and ecosystem:

If being bold and pragmatic is your thing, your tokens will find me to be a nice piggybank. I don't shy away from strong opinions, where they matter. I am very open to new information, even if they challenge convention. But I am also pragmatic, and will try to strike a balance being between the ideal and the realistic.

I spend a lot of time contributing towards the privacy discussion in crypto, and my votes will likely tend towards pushing for tech that promotes privacy, decentralization and helping crypto stay free - otherwise what are we even doing here!
